“It’s K time” - MesseDuesseldorf invites exhibitors to K 2010
The international plastics and rubber industry will meet at the world’s largest trade fair of its kind from 27 October to 3 November 2010. Invitations to exhibitors have now been sent out to prospective participants around the globe. Since 1992 already the K has a special show organized by the PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. and MesseDüsseldorf. This special presentation is one of the highlights during of the fair. In 2007, the blue PET bottle cube was the center of the 540 square meter’s special presentation. Thousands of visitors came to the stand, including steering board members, the LT and many other VIPS, but also many pupils and “young leaders”. Next year’s special show entitled “Visions in Polymers” will be one of the fair’s meeting points. It will show the future of the material – to the experts, but, via the high media coverage aimed at in print, TV/radio and internet, to the general public, too. The K 2010 Innovation Group initiated by PlasticsEurope and comprising professors for polymer sciences and plastics technology from several universities and working for the fair’s Advisory Board met in Duesseldorf on 26 January to fix the most important plastics development trends meant to serve as guidelines for both exhibitors and visitors of the show.
